Holsbyverken is a modern foundry with production of grey- and ductile iron. We was founded in Holsbybrunn 1947 and since 1963 we are located in Vetlanda.

Large investments of production equipments and simulation programs has been accomplished to meet highly expected requirements of sustainability, quality and productivity.

The capacity of the production is 10.000 ton castings per year with casting weights from 1 to 1.500 kg. The customers are mainly active in the engineering industry.

The business is certified according to ISO9001 and 14001. Beyond these we possess cerificates for produce of grey- and ductile iron for marine use and and pressure bearing devices according to PED.

Holsbyverken is the parent company to Nordcast, Älmhults Gjuteri, Rosenfors Bruk and Vcast.

3D Printing

Huge possibilities with 3D printing of molds and cores in sand.

We were the first lego foundry in the nordics to invest in a 3D-printer for molds and cores of sand.

Short lead time - Casted prototypes from 10 working days

By 3D-print molds and cores in sand the customer neither needs a pattern or tools which cost both time and money. Instead we have the possibility to print molds and cores directly with the CAD-file and cast.This process shorten the lead time and we can deliver casted parts from 10 working days.
No investment in pattern

Before the design and construction is complete we can cast prototypes and low serie products. One of the benefits is that the customer easy can make adjustments of product before investing in a pattern. We can also deliver spare parts if the pattern does not exist.
Freedom of design

With 3D-printed molds and cores we can cast more advanced geometries and reduce the need of machining. By using 3D-printed cores the possibilities are bigger because of no need of drafts.

3D-printing makes it easier and faster to try casting as production method.

We deliver according to standards EN1561 for grey iron and EN 1563 for ductile iron.
